About

I am a sound artist, researcher, and academic, with a passion for all things sonic and a curiosity for technology, experimental practices, and AI.
My journey began with a BA in Recording Arts and an MA in Creative Media Practice at Middlesex University, London. Not quite done with learning (or collecting degrees), I later graduated in Computer Science at Politecnico di Milano. This fusion of sound and tech continues to shape my research, which spans generative composition, contemporary music, artificial intelligence, interaction design, and audio technology. Right now, I’m diving even deeper into these topics through my PhD studies at the Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice (CRiSAP) centre at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
Between 2003 and 2015, I wore many academic hats at SAE Institute, even taking on the role of Director. Then came NABA, where I led the Design and Applied Arts Department (2015–2019) while also teaching Sound Design. Since 2019, I’ve been serving as Dean of NABA, where I oversee the Academy’s educational vision—essentially making sure creativity, innovation, and a healthy dose of curiosity stay at the heart of what we do.
